Rescue efforts underway - MV Lily Crown shipwrecked on the eastern corner reef of Male'

00:36 - The vessel has been fortunately rescued and no damages have been observed as yet but a full investigation of the hull is to be conducted as soon as possible according of sources in Lily Shipping.

00:03 - The vessel has a tonnage of 11,000 and was en route to Male' from Singapore. Three tug boats are currently trying to rescue the ship. Captain of the vessel is Bodu Kunnaaru Shareef.

Several ships have shipwrecked on this reef of Male' most famous was the MV Victory which unfortunately sunk there in the 80's
